Canossa College Choir

Canossa College Choir was established in 1989. Members are aged between 12 and 14. Throughout the years, the choir has won various awards in the H.K. Schools Music Festival including the Champion in 1992 and 2001. The choir also achieved a golden award in the Hong Kong Joint School Music Competition in 2018. For overseas competitions, the choir has won the golden award in Orientale Concentus IX International Choral Festival 2016, Singapore, and the Gold Diploma in the World Choir Games 2010. The choir will continue to extend their repertoire and aim at pursuing higher achievements in the future.

Conductor

Wai Man Ip, Vivian

Vivian Ip received her Bachelor (Honor) and Master Degree in Music in the Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in voice and choral conducting respectively. She studied voice with Ms. Siu-kwan Chan and Ms. Yuki Ip, choral conducting with Mr. Law Wai Lun, Dr. Law Po Kwan and Dr. John Winzenburg. She is currently an active singer, participated performances include “Turandot” , “La Traviata” and soprano solo in Beethoven 9th Symphony, etc. Ip is also an active choral conductor. Under her baton, her choir has won the golden diploma in the World Choir Games in 2010.
