Osaka Female Choir

Osaka Female Choir consists of the members of the Women’s Choral Directors Association, founded in 1999 to study choral music for the female choir conductors,For the 20th anniversary of the association, we commissioned the composer Takatomi Nobunaga, Collection for female chorus「Ame-chan」 and premiered in March 2019. (Live CD on sale now) Moreover we think it a great chance to spread out this song, written in Osaka dialect, from Tokyo to the whole world. It is a great pleasure for us to sing in this contest and we hope to bring our love to "JIMOTY", friends in hometown.

Miho Fukuda

Graduated from Mukogawa Women’s University school of Music, majored in voice, studied under Teiichi Nakayama, Mika Shigematsu, Received diploma in choral conducting course in Cantemus International Choir Festival under Dénes Szabó. After teaching several years in her alma mater, currently she is a conductor and technical adviser in several choirs. Founder and chairman of Women’s Choral Directors Association, vice representative of Japan Choral Directors Association West Branch, Member of Ongakuju.
