Don Bosco Makati – Boscorale

The Boscorale of Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati started in 2007 and is one of the well-known choirs in the Philippines. In 2014, the group joined its first international competition, the Orientale Concentus VII held in Singapore and received 2 Gold Prizes. In 2015, they won the Grand Prix in the 2nd Bohol International Competition and received the First Prize in Ensemble Category in the 2nd Andrea Veneracion International Competition. These achievements earned them the "2016 Ani ng Dangal" as the Philippine's Best Youth Choir. In 2017, the Boscorale won Gold in the Open Category of 10th Fukushima Vocal Ensemble Competition.

Alvin Paulin

Mr. Alvin B. Paulin earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Music Education at the Philippine Normal University (PNU) Manila in 2007. At present, he is connected with Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati as the conductor of the Boscorale. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Philippine Normal University Chorale under Professor Luzviminda B. Modelo. In 2014, he received the Best Conductor Award in the Orientale Concentus VII held in Singapore. He is also the recipient of Ani ng Dangal for Music, given by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in 2015.
