Kagoshima Prefectural Shoyo High School Choir
This school is one of the two public music schools in Kyushu, and is consisted from the music faculty, arts faculty and general faculty. The Music club is practicing day by day with the motto of "deliver music that vibrates the heart". In the 65th Japan choral competition, they received the 2nd place Gold medal in the National competition and the Hiroshima prefecture mayor's award as the special award. Also, in the 63rd Japan choral competition, they have participated and received 5th place in the National competition as the representative of Kyushu. Every year, they are singing in the Kyushu competition as the representative of Kagoshima prefecture. Additionally, they have participated in the National competition of the Vocal ensemble competition held in Fukushima prefecture as the representative of Kagoshima prefecture. They also are singing in various competitions, concerts, holding their own regular concerts, and singing in hospitals/nursing homes, to pursue the joy of music.

Graduated from the Tokyo Gakugei Unievrsity. Studied in USA in the 1998 teachers exchange program by the Ministry of education, culture, sports, science and technology. Studied vocal music under Mariyo Arima, Kanichi Sato, Kazuhiko Yokoyama, Yoko Oshima, piano under Akiko Oki, Kazuko Togo, Keiko Ishizaki, Okitaka Uehara. Member of the Kagoshima Opera Association and Chante Bleu. Past roles include Kaoru Ijyuin of "Mister Cinderella" in the 30th anniversary concert of the Kagoshima opera association, Carmen in "Carmen", Queen of the night in "Die Zauberflöte", Dutchess in "Le Nozze di Figaro", Witch in "Hänsel und Gretel". She also acts widely such as being the Soprano soloist in the 26th and 31st Beethoven smphony no.9 performance of Kagoshima (Houzan Hall, 2010 and 2015) and performances in nursery homes and hospitals. Received the Art and culture encouragement award of Kagoshima in 2014. Awarded by the Kagin culture foundation in 2016. Currently, music teacher in Kagoshima prefectural Shoyo High School.
