Kimitsu Junior Chorus

Founded in 2000 by the city of Kimitsu with the aim of fostering artistic culture and a rich humanity in children. The group has been holding Christmas charity concerts since 2001, and has continued to donate ticket proceeds. Since 2007, the group has been recording new songs by famous Japanese composers. In 2011, as part of a special project to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Kimitsu City's establishment as a municipality, we went on a concert tour of Austria and performed with the Vienna Boys Choir. Since returning to Japan, we has held annual concerts to support the recovery of areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, mainly in Miyagi Prefecture, and has delivered donations to various local governments. We will continue to express our gratitude to those who support us and to sing with all my heart and soul under the slogan "Practice does not lie. Let's spread our wings to the world and sing world-class songs!''
