The Balanga Choral Artists is a 2-year old group of singers founded in the year 2019. BCA is a community choral group which aim is to promote artistic development of its members and to provide enjoyment from singing with the vision of acquiring highest standard in choral singing while maintaining its values. Since most of its members are young professionals, the group is committed to the importance of continuous learning opportunities for leaders and singers alike, with the belief that they are the surest path to building and maintaining success in our society. BCA is also an accredited youth organization of the Philippine National Youth Commission.
Moreover, the Balanga Choral Artists continue to inspire the life of its constituents as well as touching the life of the people who listens to their music. Above all, the core purpose of their music is to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Joven Aguirre Magbanua
Mr. Joven A. Magbanua is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management at Bataan Peninsula State University Balanga Campus. He is currently pursuing an advance study taking up Masters in Business Administration in the same University. He is also a Public Relations Officer at the BPSU Office of Public Affairs Main Campus.
Mr. Magbanua is the former Choirmaster of the Bataan Peninsula State University Singers and now the founder and Choirmaster of the Balanga Choral Artits. Aside from being a conductor, he is also a singing member of the world renowned choir, The Ateneo Chamber Singers under the tutelage of the Philippine Madrigal Singers Alumni Mr. Jonathan Velasco as Tenor 1. Inspite of lack of formal education in music, through passion and unfailing love for music he managed to gather passionate singers to sing in unity and love.
