chorusnium is a mixed chorus group that began its activities in May 2021, mainly consisting of university students from Hokkaido and currently in around Kanto area.
The origin of the name of chorusnium is the desire to work as a choir that, like a new chemical element, has its own originality while still following the musical rules and periodicity that have been in place.

Yuichi Tabata

Yuichi TABATA is a choral conductor of chorusnium that he started with his friends from high school days in Tokyo. He was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and started playing the piano since 5 years old. Until now, he took lessons in piano from Makiko SUMI and Takashi ANDO. For solfège, he took lessons from Hiroshi AOSHIMA.
For his choral career, he started it in the junior high school choir. Later, he continued to sing in the chorus as a member of the music club at Asahikawa Higashi High School. At that time, as a student conductor, Yuichi received Silver Award in the national competition from 71st National Choral Competition and Bronze Award in the national competition from 85th NHK(Japan Broadcasting Corporation) All-Japan School Choir Competition.
