Hong Kong Tokyo Glee Club
Our choir was organized in 2019 with those who had enjoyed choir in Hong Kong as Japanese Expat. Encouraged by the 1st award received at the Festival of senior choir last year, we keep practice for feeling better harmony.
Masao Kuruma
Studied “SAITO METHOD” under conductor Kinji Sassa. Experienced resident conductor of choirs in Japan, Hong Kong and Germany. Rehearsal manager of Sony Center Ground Opening Concert with Berliner Philharmonicker in 2000. Conducted Sangesfreunde Düsseldorf-Bilk 1858 in 2016, conducted Faure Requiem in 2017 and Mozart Requiem in 2022, with Philharmonia Ensemble Tokyo & Choir Moh-Man-Tai. Conductor of 5 choirs in Japan now.
