Kurume Shin-ai Female Choir

Established 15 May 1996. It is a choir consisting of Christian students. Have a vision and mission of ministry through singing. Have participated in various domestic or foreign competitions.

Keisuke Nakajima

Born in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. He was introduced to choral music at Fukuoka University of Education, and after graduation studied conducting and choral conducting under the late Hiroshi Ishimaru and Nobuaki Miura, and conducted the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra in 1993 and 1998 with works by John Rutter and in 2014 with works by Morton Lorizen. In 2021, she and her choir participated in the All Japan Chorus Competition for the first time. He has also served as permanent conductor and music director of Fukuoka Freude Chor (1982-), Kurume Kammerchor (1988-), Kurume Onkyo Chorus (1992-2014), and South Echo Chorus (2009-). He is the vice-chairman of Fukuoka Chorus Association.
