Junior Choir Uni

In May 2021, Junior Choir Uni was formed with members ranging from elementary school students to university students. This choir was born in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. Four months after its formation in 2020, the choir gave its first joint concert with the Takatsu Shimin Chorus and performed together in a recital by popular pianist Takashi Ohara. While sharing the joy of singing on a daily basis, they are pursuing high-quality "unique" harmony. She won the Silver Prize in the Youth Division of the 4th Tokyo International Chorus Competition.

Harumi Nakajima

She is the permanent conductor of "Junior Choir Uni." As a choral instructor at Sakado Elementary School in Kawasaki for 11 years since 2009, he has achieved numerous results in competitions he has participated in; in 2018, he participated in the NHK National Music Competition with the school's choir through the block competition and won the bronze prize. He also led the choir to the second place in the 2018 TBS Competition. During the same period, the choir contributed to becoming the first elementary school choir to win the Kawasaki City Cultural Award Grand Prize for its achievements in expanding exchanges through music, including several performances with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, including the "Russia Program" conducted by Norichika Iimori. Graduated from Senzoku Gakuen School of Music, Department of Voice, and studied under Yuichi Kawana and Sumiko Kobayashi.
