The Campanella Choir was founded in 1967. Since its foundation, the choir has been a significiant part of the cultural life of Olomouc City. During its existence, Campanella has organized more than 2,000 concerts and toured extensively in various countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa, including successful representation at international festivals and competitions.
The choir is the most advanced choir of the CAMPANELLA Music School Olomouc and is visited by singers aged between 10 to 18, who have completed several years of choral training from the preparatory singing departments.
The choir’s repertoire is very wide and versatile and ranges from Gregorian chant, Renaissance polyphony and classicism to contemporary authors. A large part of the choir’s repertoire consists of folk songs from around the world.
