Miriam College Middle School Chorus

The Miriam College Middle School (MCMS) Chorus is an all-girls vocal performing group of Miriam College Middle School which aims to train student singers to sing as an ensemble. The group performs in various school and external engagements. They won silver awards (Equal Voices-Junior/Folklore Category) at the 10th Orientale Concentus International Choral Festival in Singapore. In addition, the group also bagged Second Prize and Best Interpretation Award of the Contest Piece for the Children’s Choir Category in the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Conductor

Sinamar Respicio

Ms. Respicio graduated with a degree in Church Music, major in conducting, minor in voice at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music (AILM). She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in conducting at the St. Paul Universtiy – Manila. Her conducting mentors include choir clinician Mr. Jonathan Velasco, Mr. Joshibiah Butch De Juan, and National Artist for Music Dr. Francisco F. Feliciano to name a few. She is currently the conductor of the Miriam College Middle School Chorus. She is also a lecturer at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music.
