Melody Ladies Choir，Cultural House of Nan Ming
Melody Ladies Choir，Cultural House of Nan Ming District，Guiyang was established in 2008 with senior members from all walks of life. The Choir was praised with touching voice in many competitions and performances within China and aboard as well after long term intensive training on singing skills and music knowledge. During the past ten years, the Choir has obtained the following awards in domestic as well as international competitions: 2008 Bronze Award in the Colorful Guizhou Choral Competition 2010 Silver Award in the Hohhot 1st Folk Gala 2010 Silver Award in the 10th China Choral Festival cum 2nd Xinghai International Choral Festival, Canton 2011 Bronze Award in the 2nd China Southern (Haikou) Choral Festival 2013 Bronze Award in the 12th Wenzhou Choral Festival 2014 Gold Award in the Sino-Korean Choral Arts Festival, Seoul 2015 Best Performance in the Sino-Thai International Award on Music and Dance Costumes Competition 2016 Gold Award in the 3rd China Folk Song Choral Festival, Kaili, Guizhou 2016 Silver Award in the “Dong Ting Huang Lung” China Choral Show 2016 Class A Award, (Gold Award) in the Beautiful China, Zhouqing Choral Week 2017 Bronze Award in the 14th China Choral Festival
Conductor
Dan Huang
Ms.HUANG was graduated at the Guizhou Normal University. She is now Director of the China Choral Association, Director of the Guizhou Province Choral Association, Director of the Guiyang City Choral Association, Member of the Guizhou Province Music Educational Board. Ms. Huang has won the 1st Award of Comprehensive Music Teaching Skills, the 2nd in the Singing Competition of Music teachers, and the 1st in the Music Education Reform Studies and presentation. Ms. Huang has won various awards in her choral conduction career, which include: 2000 “Outstanding Conductor” in the 1st East Coast cities Treble Choir Competition, Yientai 2014 “Best Music Interpretation” in the Sino-Korean Choral Arts Festival, Seoul 2015 “Outstanding Guiding Teacher” in the Sino-Thai International Award on Music and Dance Costumes Competition 2016 “Outstanding Conductor” in the 7th Colorful Sunset of the Pan China Seniors Choral Festival at the Beijing Grand Theatre 2016 “Outstanding Conductor” in the 3rd China Folk Song Choral Festival, Kaili, Guizhou
