The Greeners' Sound

The Greeners’ Sound is founded by alumni choristers of Belilios Public School and Wah Yan College, Kowloon in 2010 as a mixed choral society, sharing their passion for singing. The group consists of both undergraduate and graduate students. The Greeners’ Sound performs wide ranges of repertoires in various occasions, from local performances to overseas competitions. The choir has attained multiple awards, including Gold awards in the 2015 Hong Kong World Youth and Children's Choir Festival and in the 8th World Choir Games, Championships in the 65th and 67th Hong Kong Schools’ Music Festival, and more.

Lai Yin Larry Shuen

Larry Shuen is a composer, sound artist, media artist and the conductor of The Greeners’ Sound. He joined the choir in 2012 as an active choral singer and accompanist. He made his choral conducting debut in The Greeners’ Sound Annual Concert 2013, premiering his composition The Turns of Life. Since then, Shuen’s music, including Goodbye Again, Cambridge, Deer Enclosure and The Ship that Sails, is often performed in various concerts and competitions. Shuen holds a BMus in composition and electronic music from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in creative media.
