Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses

Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses is a continuation of Pueri Cantores Plocenses boys’ choir founded in 1998 by Anna and Wiktor Bramscy by Płock’s cathedral basilica. Together with a girls’ ensemble established in 2006, it comprises of over a hundred members aged between 7 and 25, and is a cultural institution of the city of Płock. The Choir’s extensive repertoire is full of the finest pieces of music, ranging from medieval Gregorian chants to contemporary compositions. It has been honored with more than 60 awards and accolades in countless competitions and festivals, most recently in Singapore and Bali in 2018.

Conductor

Anna Bramska

Anna Bramska, a qualified educator and conductor, is the Choir’s director. Having been promoting culture in Płock for many years, she prides herself on assisting with the development of musically gifted youth and sharing spiritual, cultural and patriotic values amongst them. Anna Bramska has received multiple honours, including The Best of Płock’s in 2000 title, Award of Merit for Cultural Activists from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland, a prize from the Marshal of Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Meritorious in Płock bagde and a medal from Pope Francis for her distinguished merits and care of the Catholic Church.
