Atorion Boys and Girls Chorus
Founded in December of 2014 for the concert opera “Hansel and Gretel” (February 8, 2015 / Atorion Concert Hall). Members are from 4th grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in senior high school. Through various activities : performing with professional musicians at concerts held by Atorion Concert Hall, interacting with different-age members, studying, helping each other, we act with the aim of cultivating members’ sensitivity, cooperativeness, and spirit of self-reliance. Experienced not only concerts held by Atorion Concert Hall (concert opera series etc.), but also performances requested from outside. Being an amateur chorus, all the members including beginners are always working hard under kind trainers to perform with professional musicians, and aim for better performance, better music.

Hiroaki Kato
Graduated from Tokyo College of Music, faculty of vocal music. And research student of it. Studied choral conducting under Nobuaki Tanaka, studied conducting under Masamitsu Takahashi. Has been engaged in choral training in various places. Performed as a choral conductor with Kenichiro Kobayashi / Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra, Tetsuji Honna / Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and many other orchestras. Regular conductor of NHK Tokyo Children Chorus (2003~2012). Lecturer in Toho Gakuen College Music Department.
