The choir has been active since the founding of the school and participates every year in the NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition as well as the All Japan Chorus Competition. It is also involved in a wide range of activities both on and off campus. At school, the choir performs at the school festival and provides music for Mass. Off campus, it takes part in ensemble contests, the General Cultural Festival, federation-sponsored events, and local occasions such as the opening ceremony of the Hiroshima Men’s Ekiden (Emperor’s Cup) and Christmas celebrations. The choir has received numerous awards, including the Gold Prize in the School Choir Division at the 7th Tokyo International Choir Competition, the Silver Prize at the 64th Chugoku Choir Competition, and the Bronze Prize at the 92nd NHK All Japan School Music Competition (Chugoku Block).

Born in Hiroshima. He graduated from Elisabeth College of Music with a vocal music. Belongs to Japan Chamber Choir, Elisabeth Singers, The Cygnus Vocal Octet, Men's Vocal Ensemble "TERAOTOKO", etc. He studied vocal music with Kazuhiro Onomura, Satoshi Sakakibara, Ryoko Kobayashi and Mutsumi Hatano. He is currently a director of the Hiroshima Prefectural Chorus Federation and Hiroshima Prefectural High School Music Federation. He also works for Notre Dame Seishin Junior and Senior High School and teaches the school choir. While coaching the school's choir, he won the Gold Prize in the School Choir Club category at the 7th Tokyo International Choir Competition.
