The Youth Choir of The Unique Atayal College
泰雅學堂青年合唱團
Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Founded in 2023, the Youth Choir of the Unique Atayal College is formed by young singers who grew up learning choral music together in the Atayal community. Despite studying across different cities, their passion for singing brought them back to their hometown, where conductor Bsyal Makus reunited them to continue creating music rooted in Atayal culture. The choir has rapidly gained international recognition. In 2024, they won two Gold Medals at the Taipei International Choral Competition. In 2025, they received Gold Medals and the Champion Award at the Singapore International Choral Festival, followed by two more Gold Medals at the Taipei competition. Their performances often feature works arranged by Atayal youth composer Syat Pawang, blending indigenous musical colors with contemporary and jazz elements.
