Vocal Ensemble “Fortissimo” was founded in 2014 in Burgas, Bulgaria, with the mission to explore the richness of polyphonic Bulgarian folk music, as well as pop and classical repertoire. Their exceptional talent quickly brought national recognition after winning the TV show Game of the Choirs on bTV. Since then, Fortissimo has achieved remarkable success at major international competitions worldwide. The ensemble has earned numerous top awards, including Grand Prix and World Champion titles at prestigious events such as the European Choir Games, World Choir Games, and World Choral Cup. Highlights include multiple gold medals in Latvia, South Africa, Belgium, Hong Kong, Sweden, and Spain, as well as victories in Italy and Poland. Fortissimo has twice been named “Ensemble of the Year” by Bulgarian National Radio and has released two solo albums.

Milena Dobreva - Short Biography Milena Dobreva, born in 1962 in Burgas, Bulgaria, is a distinguished music educator and conductor. She holds qualifications in Pop and Jazz Singing from the National Academy of Music in Sofia and Music Technology from Sofia University. With over three decades of experience, Milena has taught at leading music institutions, including the National School of Music and Performing Arts in Burgas. Milena founded and leads the renowned Vocal Ensemble "Fortissimo," known for its innovative performances and artistic excellence. She is also the creator of the award-winning children's Vocal Formation "Morski Pesachinki", producing several albums and achieving national and international recognition. As a composer and arranger, her works have won awards at prestigious competitions. Milena's achievements include the "Teacher of the Year" award, "Burg of the Year," and the "Crystal Lyre", “Golden Feather” for music excellence and contribution in the Bulgarian cultural development. She was named Music Educator of the Year 2023 by Bulgarian National Radio and is an Honorary Citizen of Burgas. Milena's commitment to music education and performance continues to inspire new generations of artists.
