Studied conducting under the late Masamitsu Takashina. After serving as assistant conductor and principal conductor of the Osaka University Mixed Choir, he moved to Tokyo and spent eight years honing his skills in choral instruction and conducting under composer and choral conductor Ko Matsushita. He has won numerous gold prizes at competitions, including the Tokyo International Choral Competition and various contests primarily held in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Currently serves as Music Director and Principal Conductor for nine choirs while also actively engaged in choral instruction within educational settings. Member of the Japan Choral Conductors Association (JCDA). Auditor for the Tokyo Choral Federation.
